Service
- Row for Hope 2022 - Join FOSC as it supports McQuaid Crew members who will row over 300 miles in eight days beginning Sat. June 18, 2022 to support St. Joseph's House of Hospitality, a Rochester Catholic Worker community which provides food, clothing, shelter and spiritually-centered care to its guests. St. Joseph's House shares a firm belief in the God-given dignity of every human person and is committed to nonviolence, voluntary poverty, and the Works of Mercy as a way of life. McQuaid rowers will collect donations for their efforts as well as provide service to St. Joseph's. Please go to the RowForHope website for additional information.
Fundraising
FOSC holds a fundraising event each Fall; baked pies are scrumptious and just in time for the holidays! Pies are baked by Special Touch Bakery, a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to provide training and employment, in the community, to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Proceeds from Special Touch Bakery benefit Holy Childhood, a non-profit, non-denominational agency. Both organizations inspire the lifelong success of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
